As I write this I am sitting in the backseat of my father's car writing on my blackberry. Part of me is blogging right now because I want something to do while we drive home from visiting my younger brother at college for dinner. The other part of me is doing it because there are many things zooming through my head right now- one of which was whether or not I'd even be able to blog from my blackberry.
Regardless of why I decided to blog I am. For the better part of this car ride I've been thinking about my writing. I know that I wrote about my writing in my last blog but I have more to say. I feel like I have betrayed my characters. I have put some much effort into coming up with and developing these characters and yet I don't follow through and finish most of their stories. I leave my characters hanging mid plot and sometimes waste a really great character on an only mediocer plot.
Well I will do that no more. From now on I will catalog my characters and use them only when I truly have a plot that is worthy of them. And I will also make sure to continue to back up my stories on my external harddrive. So that next time my computer decides to poop out on me again I won't lose all my characters and their stories like I did last time.
